Amplify is one of Asia Pacific's leading creator-led businesses, focused on redefining what entertainment looks like for the 21st century. We work closely with some of Australia and Asia's top online creators, managing talent, campaigns, and live events to create commercial and audience opportunities. As Amplify experiences significant growth across the APAC region, particularly in the creator space, we are looking to strengthen our leadership team with the addition of a Chief Operating Officer (COO).

Role Overview:

The Chief Operating Officer will play a critical role in managing operational demands across multiple markets, ensuring that Amplify's growth is supported by scalable processes. This includes collaborating with country leads across the region to enhance operational efficiency and consistency. Although existing systems and processes are in place, they need to be built out further to accommodate ongoing expansion.

The COO will be responsible for defining and enhancing these systems and processes to support Amplify's creator-led growth. As the company moves from a startup environment into a more structured phase, the COO will focus on ensuring operational excellence and guiding the transition. This includes refining corporate governance structures, ensuring compliance, and developing a high-performing C-suite team to lead Amplify through its next growth phase.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and enhance operational strategy across multi-market operations with a focus on creator-driven growth.
  2. Work with country leads to streamline processes and ensure operational consistency across markets.
  3. Oversee finance team and governance.
  4. Build out and refine existing systems and processes to support the company's rapid growth.
  5. Oversee structuring, compliance, and governance as Amplify scales.
  6. Lead the development and expansion of the C-suite to meet the company's evolving needs.
  7. Ensure that operational systems are built to scale, allowing for seamless growth.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

We are seeking a candidate who understands the unique demands of a creator-led business. Experience in digital media, advertising, and working with creators is preferable but not essential. The ideal candidate will have:

  1. Proven experience in scaling startups into larger, more structured organizations.
  2. A strong understanding of multi-market operations, ideally in the APAC region.
  3. Expertise in operational strategy, governance, and compliance.
  4. Experience building and leading high-performing leadership teams.
  5. Deep understanding of finance and managing P&Ls.
  6. Experience in Media, Advertising and technology fields.
  7. A track record in implementing technology to improve efficiencies in organizations.
  8. A strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to implementation.

Location: The position will be based out of Amplify's Sydney office, with flexibility to travel across the region as required.
