Senior Manager - Business Advisory
Location: Brisbane CBD
Reports To: Partner - Business Advisory

About the Role
As a Senior Manager within our Business Advisory Services division, you'll oversee a portfolio of corporate clients, ensuring compliance, delivering financial insights, and enhancing business performance. You will lead complex accounting projects, nurture a high-performing team, and act as a strategic partner to stakeholders to elevate our service offerings.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse portfolio of corporate clients, ensuring delivery of efficient, high?quality accounting and reporting services.
- Oversee a portfolio of non-audit client engagements, ensuring high-quality deliverables and maintaining the firm's reputation for excellence.
- Apply advanced problem-solving skills to address complex technical matters, such as accounting issues, adoption of new standards, financial reporting review and development, and financial management and governance frameworks.
- Take an active role in strengthening and broadening the division's offerings through training, knowledge sharing, and innovative service delivery.
- Play a central role in business development by identifying opportunities, preparing proposals, drafting contracts, and generating new service concepts to support the firm's growth strategy.
- Guide, mentor, and oversee team members, supporting their professional development and ensuring delivery of work to the highest standard.
- Take responsibility for project budgets, timelines, and financial performance to achieve optimal outcomes for both clients and the firm.
- Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships across teams, service lines, and with clients, ensuring engagement and trust.
- Consistently challenge yourself and the team to enhance performance, supported by a culture of professional growth and innovation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; graduate degree preferred
- 8+ years of accounting experience, including?3 years in a managerial capacity
- CPA (or equivalent) highly preferred
- Proven expertise in financial reporting, and compliance
- Strong experience managing teams and delivering client?facing accounting services
- Advanced skills in process improvement and accounting systems such as Xero, MYOB
- Excellent analytical, communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Qualifications in Accounting or Finance
- Additional certifications: CPA/CA
