Digital & Technology Solutions Specialist at Zimmer Biomet. The role supports surgeons in theatre across hospitals in Wollongong and Campbelltown, promoting Zimmer Biomet's products and integrated digital platforms such as mymobility.
What You Can ExpectAs an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist, you will support surgeons in theatre across hospitals in Wollongong and Campbelltown as they perform instrument and robotic-assisted surgical procedures. You will promote Zimmer Biomet's range of products and work with integrated digital platforms to inform care decisions and connect patients with their surgeons. You will collaborate with medical staff to ensure proper use of the ROSA surgical robot and our full product portfolio. You will maintain and troubleshoot medical technology equipment and provide training and support to hospital staff on the ROSA robotic system and other Zimmer Biomet technologies and implants.
Responsibilities- Assist in instrument and robotic-assisted surgical procedures, ensuring effective use of Zimmer Biomet products
- Manage surgical equipment requirements for each case, promoting ROSA and mymobility utilization
- Utilise mymobility to enhance patient–surgeon communication and care decisions
- Keep up to date with new surgical techniques and provide in-service training on Zimmer Biomet technologies and implant portfolio
- Collaborate and provide training and support to hospital staff on the ROSA surgical robot and the full suite of Zimmer Biomet technologies and portfolio
- Tertiary qualifications: Physiotherapy, Osteopathy, Nursing, Paramedicine or Sports/Exercise Science
- Minimum 4 years of industry experience
- Passion for health, the human body and advancing technologies to improve patients' lives
- Curiosity and innovativeness: desire to explore new ideas and drive advancements
- Technological proficiency and ability to handle advanced medical technology
- Strong ability to work with technology and attention to detail
- Positive, can-do attitude
- Extensive knowledge of anatomy and kinematics
- Strong verbal and written communication; ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders
- Ability to learn new and complex information quickly
- High-level organizational and time-management skills
- Frequent travel within the state (up to 90%)
- Infrequent interstate/overseas travel as required
