Step into a pivotal role in Darling Downs Health's Critical Care Ward, where you'll deliver specialist care to patients with complex and life-threatening conditions. This position blends clinical leadership, teaching, and service innovation—ensuring outstanding patient outcomes while shaping the future of healthcare delivery.

Responsibilities
  • Provide expert diagnosis, treatment, and life-saving interventions.
  • Mentor registrars and residents, fostering a thriving learning environment.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to drive excellence in patient-centred care.
  • Engage in teaching and research through the University of Queensland.
  • Contribute to clinical governance, innovation, and service improvements.
What You'll Bring
  • Fellowship of the College of Intensive Care Medicine (CICM) or equivalent
  • Current registration with AHPRA (Specialist)
  • Demonstrated expertise in Critical Care/ICU
  • Strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills
  • Commitment to clinical governance, education, and research
