Overview

As a Generative AI Engineer, you will work directly with NCS Australia\'s clients to solve their most complex challenges. Your primary focus will be the hands-on, end-to-end delivery of bespoke AI solutions, including designing and developing intelligent agents, implementing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) patterns, and building robust data pipelines and APIs to support these applications.

Beyond pure development, you will ensure the operational excellence and strategic success of your solutions. You will implement CI/CD workflows, monitor model performance, and act as a trusted technical advisor to our clients. A key part of your role will be presenting compelling Proof of Value demonstrations and clearly communicating the business impact of your technical work to client stakeholders.

You will be at the forefront of our clients\' transformation journey, working with cutting-edge technology to solve complex, real-world problems and deliver tangible impact.

Responsibilities
  • Hands-on, end-to-end delivery of bespoke generative AI solutions for clients.
  • Design and develop intelligent agents and implement RAG patterns.
  • Build robust data pipelines and APIs to support AI applications.
  • Implement CI/CD workflows and monitor model performance in production.
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor to clients and present Proof of Value demonstrations.
  • Clearly communicate the business impact of technical work to diverse client stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams to drive transformation initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Generative AI & Frameworks: Hands-on experience building advanced AI solutions using Retrieval-Augmented Generation patterns, with practical skills in frameworks like LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, and platforms such as the Google AI Development Kit.
  • Cloud-Agnostic Application Development: Proven track record of building and deploying production-quality Python solutions on major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), using serverless, data pipelines, and API gateways.
  • MLOps & Automation: Experience implementing MLOps and automated CI/CD pipelines to deploy, monitor, and maintain ML models in production.
  • Client Communication & Stakeholder Engagement: Ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Requirements Translation & Problem-Solving: Ability to translate client challenges into practical functional and technical AI requirements.
  • Technical Presentations & Demos: Experience presenting technical architecture and delivering PoV demos that showcase business impact.
  • Collaboration & Credentials: Strong team player with professional cloud certifications (AWS, GCP, Azure) in architecture, development, or ML.
