The Role & Project

MACA Mining is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Gruyere on an 8/6 roster (DS:NS), FIFO from Perth.

The Gruyere Gold Project is located within the Yamarna greenstone belt, approximately 200km east of Laverton in Western Australia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise site maintenance personnel daily, including apprentices and sub-contractors, ensuring safety and efficiency.
  • Ensure optimal use of plant and equipment to minimize downtime.
  • Plan and execute unscheduled work due to breakdowns or backlog as directed by the Maintenance Superintendent.
  • Complete all work according to MACA quality and safety standards.
  • Use monitoring tools like KPIs to improve maintenance processes.
To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Have
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Heavy Diesel Trade Qualification or similar.
  • Statutory Declaration Training Supervisor Schedule 26.
  • Knowledge of mobile plant and equipment performance and best practices.
  • Current driver's license; HR license is desirable.
  • Experience maintaining surface mining earth-moving equipment.
