We have an exciting opportunity for aTreasury Accountant to join the New Women and Babies Hospital Team in Perth In this role, you will work as part of a collaborative, supportive finance team managing the treasury function for the project.

Webuildis delivering the design and construction of theNew Women and Babies Hospitalin Perth, Western Australia. Commissioned by the Western Australia Government, the project is destined to replace the century-old King Edward Memorial Hospital and will expand the healthcare services for women, children and their families in the State of West Australia, transforming the capacity of two important healthcare campuses: the Fiona Stanley Hospital complex and the Osborne Park Hospital.

Who you are

Your focus will include:

  • Overseeing project banking operations, ensuring client and supplier payment terms are met.
  • Ensuring required approvals are in place per the Power of Attorney (POA) before bank execution.
  • Providing cash flow reporting and forecasting for the project.
  • Support month end processes, assisting with financial reporting cycles.
  • Providing analysis and timely reporting on liquidity, identifying any potential risks.

What you will bring to the team:

  • Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance related discipline
  • Membership to the Institute of Chartered Accountants or CPA Australia
  • Minimum of 3 years' post qualification experience, is desirable
  • Project Bank Account (PBA) on a Construction Contract, is strongly desirable
  • ERP systems knowledge (SAP preferred)
  • Strong analytical, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet strict compliance deadlines
