Treasury Analyst Role

  • The organisation is seeking a technically strong treasury analyst/accountant to support the finance team and work with international stakeholders and treasury teams.

We are looking for someone with 2-3 years of commercial experience gained in a role that focuses on cash management. Treasury and foreign currency management would be ideal.

This opportunity provides an excellent platform for you to grow your treasury management skills in a global setting.

Key responsibilities:

  1. Monitor, control and forecast current and future cash flow and banking, including recording transactions correctly on the ERP system and ensuring all covenant and reporting requirements are met.
  2. Monitor, control and review all foreign currency accounting and risks, including managing hedging strategies for the business on various projects.
  3. Perform middle office tasks interacting with Accounting, Accounts Payable and Tax to ensure proper cash management and bank reconciliations to support month end close off processes.
  4. Cash forecasting and management of cash calls from inter-company facilities and JV partners.
  5. Analyse data for detailed measurement of performance, financial position, cash flows and key business metrics for decision-making, investment and funding requests.
  6. Utilise Treasury Management systems.
  7. Manage banking facilities, ensuring all interest income accruals, borrowing cost calculations and bank reconciliations are up to date and accurate.
  8. Assist the Senior Financial Accountant in the preparation of monthly and quarterly reporting.
