Role Overview:

We are seeking experienced HSE Advisors with EPC or mega project experience to provide health, safety and environmental (HSE) leadership for a group of site workers, including Transmission Linesmen and tower builders. This role is a FIFO position on a 3:1 roster, running until project completion (early 2026), with potential for extension.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice on HSE matters to site teams and project leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant HSE legislation, regulations and company policies.
  • Develop, implement and maintain HSE plans and procedures aligned with EPC project requirements.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement appropriate controls to mitigate hazards.
  • Investigate incidents and near misses, including root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
  • Deliver HSE training, toolbox talks and awareness programs for site personnel.
  • Monitor, audit and report HSE performance across the project.
  • Maintain accurate HSE records, reports and documentation for project and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate closely with project management to ensure HSE objectives align with project goals.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as an HSE Advisor in construction or similar projects.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement HSE plans and procedures on large-scale projects.
  • Strong experience in risk assessments, incident investigations and corrective actions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a high-pressure environment.
  • EPC and/or mega project experience highly desirable.
