Base pay range

$122,300.00/yr - $181,009.00/yr

Your New Role And Responsibilities

This position will lead and execute Verification and Validation (V&V) activities across complex systems and projects, ensuring that technical, operational, and security requirements are met in alignment with Defence or Federal Government standards. The role aims to deliver high-quality test engineering outcomes through collaboration, technical expertise, and effective stakeholder engagement.

Under The Direction Of a Designated Team Leader, Perform The Following Functions As Individual Assignments Or As Part Of a Team

• Lead full engineering lifecycle from concept to deployment, ensuring integration and quality assurance.
• Translate customer requirements into effective system test solutions and V&V deliverables.
• Develop and execute V&V activities, including plans, procedures, and compliance matrices.
• Collaborate across teams to align testing strategies with system architecture and project goals.
• Analyse test results and manage defects, supporting multiple programs with adaptability and problem-solving.
  
  

What You'll Bring To Make An Impact

• Proven experience in Systems or Test Engineering in large-scale test projects, ideally within Defence or Federal Government sectors.
• Firm grasp of Systems Engineering lifecycle, V&V methodologies, and test management tools (e.g., ALM, Jira).
• Knowledge of Data Centre Infrastructure and enterprise applications; experience with defence projects preferred.
