Test and Validation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Test and Validation Specialist to lead the development, execution, and coordination of cybersecurity test procedures for a complex, critical system integration program.

This role plays a critical part in ensuring security controls are robust, compliant, and ready for accreditation. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of security controls, accreditation processes, and IRAP standards.

  • Develop, automate, and execute cybersecurity test procedures across integration and test facilities.
  • Debug procedures on test benches and support formal verification campaigns with IRAP assessors and security stakeholders.
  • Record and report test results, generate KPI metrics, and raise defects where security gaps are identified.
  • Collaborate with Sub-System teams to define and verify correction plans.
  • Plan and coordinate testing activities in alignment with platform readiness and control maturity.
  • Support integration teams in understanding and implementing security features.
  • Conduct on-site verification across Australia to demonstrate compliance and readiness for accreditation.
Requirements:
  • Experience in cybersecurity testing, verification, and defect management.
  • Strong understanding of security controls, accreditation processes, and IRAP standards.
  • Excellent coordination and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to work across technical teams and operational environments.
  • Familiarity with national security or aviation systems is highly desirable.
  • Must be Australian Citizen.
