System Verification and Validation Specialist

This role involves leading and executing Verification and Validation activities across complex systems and projects, ensuring that technical, operational, and security requirements are met in alignment with Defence or Federal Government standards.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in Systems or Test Engineering in large-scale test projects, ideally within Defence or Federal Government sectors.

Job Requirements
  • Lead full engineering lifecycle from concept to deployment, ensuring integration and quality assurance.
  • Translate customer requirements into effective system test solutions and V&V deliverables.
  • Develop and execute V&V activities, including plans, procedures, and compliance matrices.
  • Collaborate across teams to align testing strategies with system architecture and project goals.
  • Analyse test results and manage defects, supporting multiple programs with adaptability and problem-solving.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Firm grasp of Systems Engineering lifecycle, V&V methodologies, and test management tools (e.g., ALM, Jira).
  • Knowledge of Data Centre Infrastructure and enterprise applications; experience with defence projects preferred.
