Our upmarket, family-friendly restaurant and bar in the heart of North Adelaide is looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations, lead a passionate team, and ensure smooth service across dine-in, takeaway, and contactless delivery.

Your Role

As Restaurant Manager, you'll be the driving force of our front-of-house team, ensuring an outstanding experience for dine-in guests and online delivery customers. You'll work closely with chefs and ownership to refine the customer journey, maintain compliance, and lead a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

Service Leadership: Oversee all daily operations — ensuring exceptional service across dine-in, takeaway, and delivery.

Team Management: Hire, roster, train, and mentor staff to foster teamwork, accountability, and customer focus.

Customer Experience: Ensure guest satisfaction, resolve complaints professionally, and build strong community connections.

Menu Collaboration: Work with the kitchen team to shape offerings based on customer trends, feedback, and operational goals.

Health & Hygiene Compliance: Maintain strict hygiene standards and WHS compliance across all service areas.

Financial Control: Manage budgets, control costs, process daily transactions, and prepare financial reports.

Inventory & Supplier Management: Oversee ordering, manage supplier relationships, and track stock levels.

Marketing Support: Contribute to promotional activities and online strategies to promote multicultural dining, events, and delivery growth.

Quality Oversight: Ensure food and service quality are consistent, timely, and aligned with brand standards.

What You Bring

Relevant qualification in hospitality, business management, or a related field.

At least 3 years' experience in a supervisory or management role within the hospitality industry.

Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to perform under pressure while driving team morale and results.

Solid understanding of restaurant financial operations, POS systems, and inventory control.

Passion for creating memorable guest experiences and nurturing team growth.

Familiarity with Indian cuisine, food culture, and marketing strategies is highly desirable, but not essential.
