We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Mechanical Engineer (Defence) with experience in defence aviation. If you are solution-oriented, collaborative, and passionate about engineering, you'll thrive in this role.

Your Role

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Design, test, and maintain mechanical components and systems for defence applications.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with specifications and safety standards.
  • Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement solutions.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation, reports, and technical drawings.

The Essential Requirements
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 3+ years' experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in defence aviation sector.
  • Eligible to obtain or currently hold Defence security clearance.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and technical skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Important:

Due to Defence security clearance requirements, only Australian citizens are eligible for these roles.

Additional Qualifications
  • Experience with aircraft components, turbine engines, or aerospace systems is highly desirable. Availability to work at Amberley is preferred.
