Responsibilities

Working within a multidisciplinary team, the Peer Worker will draw upon their personal lived experience with a mental health issue to provide recovery oriented interventions, lived experience counsel and advocacy to consumers, carers, and multidisciplinary staff across the district. The position works with consumers in both an individual and group setting to facilitate recovery through the development of skills, strengths and capacity for successful independent community living.

Requirements

• Certificate IV in Peer Work (or enrolled in and currently studying Cert IV Peer Work)
