About the role:

As a Payroll Officer, you'll play a key role in ensuring smooth payroll operations and compliance for a multi-site organization. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Processing payroll, maintaining accurate employee records, and addressing pay-related inquiries.
  • Assisting with superannuation payments and ensuring legislative compliance.
  • Improving payroll systems, managing rosters, and providing training on payroll software.
  • Supporting reporting, business planning, and policy development within the payroll function.
Requirements:
  • 2–3 years of experience in a computerized payroll environment, ideally in a large organization.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a proactive and solutions-focused mindset.
  • Experience with Chris 21 is a plus.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 2-3 years of experience in a computerized payroll environment, preferably within a large or multi-site organization.
  • Familiarity with payroll systems and processes.
