Lawson Elliott is excited to be working alongside a well-recognised organisation who is looking to welcome a confident and experienced Payroll Officer to join their team on a 12mth Fixed Term Contract This company is going through considerable growth and is looking for someone to take their business to the next level. This will be an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate, well driven and has a willingness to develop and succeed in a fast-paced environment.

Reporting to the Payroll Team Lead, your key responsibilities will be, but are not limited to:

- Payroll data analysis and extrapolation
- Assist with end-to-end payroll completion
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements
- Interpretation and application of modern awards
- Prepare forms and reports in relation to payroll deductions
- Evaluations and enhancement of payroll processes
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders

To be considered for this role, it would be advantageous to have:

- At least 4+ years of experience in a similar role or with project payroll experience
- Strong communication skills
- Experience using softwares such as SAP and SuccessFactors highly desirable
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Sound knowledge around Industrial Awards and Agreements
