Financial Control - Stock Ledger & Inventory Manager

Overview

TJX Australia is looking for a strategic and hands-on Inventory Control Manager to lead our inventory planning, reporting, and governance. This role is critical in ensuring inventory accuracy across systems, driving financial insights, and partnering with teams to support business growth.

About the Role

You'll oversee end-to-end inventory control, including forecasting, reconciliation, and reporting. You'll work closely with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to influence inventory decisions, improve processes, and lead a team of analysts to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead inventory forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning.
  • Ensure integrity of stock data across systems and manage reconciliation processes.
  • Deliver timely, accurate inventory reporting and insights to senior stakeholders.
  • Partner with Merchandising, Logistics, and Distribution to align inventory strategies.
  • Drive process improvements through automation and data tools.
  • Lead and develop a team, fostering a culture of performance and growth.
What You'll Bring
  • Strong experience in inventory control, financial planning, or business analysis.
  • Advanced Excel and Power BI skills, with a sharp analytical mindset.
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive strategic outcomes.
  • A continuous improvement mindset and experience leading change.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting, or Data Science.
