Caravan Fix Cardiff is part of our national repair network, who are seeking an enthusiastic, hands-on Production / Site Manager to lead our talented team.

What You'll Be Doing

As our Production / Site Manager, you'll be responsible for the safe and efficient daily operations across our caravan repair facility in Cardiff. You'll oversee job allocation, coordinate repairs, support technicians, and ensure customer satisfaction remains high.

Your Core Responsibilities:

Leadership & Workflow Management

  • Lead a team of caravan technicians
  • Schedule jobs and manage repairs to meet quality and delivery targets
  • Ensure effective communication between trades, customers, and office staff

Workshop Operations

  • Oversee a variety of repairs including insurance work, re-sheeting, 12V installations, accessories, water systems, and cabinetry
  • Support staff in diagnosing and resolving technical issues
  • Manage sublet work, parts procurement, and supplier relationships
  • Maintain clean, organised, and compliant workshops

Customer Communication

  • Provide accurate repair updates and timeframes
  • Liaise with customers and insurers professionally and respectfully
  • Handle concerns or escalations with care and confidence

Compliance & Quality Assurance

  • Ensure OHS/WHS procedures are followed
  • Perform final inspections to uphold quality standards
  • Promote safe work practices and lead by example
Who You Are

Must-Have Attributes

  • Previous experience in caravan, automotive, or mechanical repairs
  • Strong team leadership and organisational skills
  • Hands-on problem solver with a mechanical mindset
  • Confident communicator—able to lead teams and reassure customers
  • Computer-literate and comfortable with workshop systems
  • Trade background in auto, mechanical, cabinetry, or electrical fields
  • Knowledge of plumbing, 12V systems, or RV accessories
  • Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain)
  • Welding or fabrication experience
  • Exposure to iBody or other job tracking platforms
  • Be part of a locally respected business with national scale
