ABOUT THE ROLE
Our Payroll Systems Product Specialist plays a key client-facing role, delivering exceptional support and service to our system users. The Payroll, HR Kiosk, and Time & Attendance – Workforce modules operate within industries where complex awards and rosters are common, making them highly configurable and adaptable. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support for the Workforce and Payroll modules, as well as guiding ongoing improvements to the product to meet evolving client needs.
ABOUT YOU
You will possess comprehensive knowledge of Australian payroll processing, including legislative and compliance considerations associated with payroll functions and general HR knowledge with an insight into WHS legislation and systems. . This encompasses, but is not limited to:

Configuration and setup of our Advantage HR/payroll system providing accurate support to our customers, new and existing, testing and support post go-live.

Ensuring accuracy and integrity of payroll data through auditing, analysis, and resolution of report discrepancies on a regular basis, testing, system upgrades and high level of client support.

Interpretation of awards, Enterprise Agreements (EAs), legislation, National Employment Standards (NES), and State-based leave legislation, knowledge of the Fair Work Act and related employment standards.

Experience with the handling termination and redundancy payments, superannuation processing, and taxation audits for client support and

Developing and delivering training manuals and user guides to enhance the client experience, process improvements and ongoing supporting documentation.

Supporting key stakeholders in the effective use of HR, payroll, and Time & Attendance modules resolving customer tickets, calls and queries related the Pulse platform.

Collaborating with internal DevOps teams to support clients, issues related to bugs, functionality and system errors, while recommending new processes, improvements, upgrades, and enhancements.

Future recommendation of existing and new processes and improvements, upgrades and enhancements.

Working with a variety of customers, account managers to understand their needs and resolving issues and tickets as they are logged.
ABOUT KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
You will possess a strong ability to think outside the box when problem-solving, including reviewing, identifying and recommending options for changes or improvements of current payroll technology and procedures to improve efficiency, functionality and flexibility including investigation and resolution of one-off and recurring complex or technical problems.

AT least 3 years' experience in a similar role, payroll administrations/system management, HRIS administration/implementation

Project implementation, admin/support and account management experience

A good understanding of payroll and related technology/software, including experience in integrating time and attendance systems

Participated in payroll software implementations, digital transformation - (highly regarded)

An ability to prioritise and multitask across customers and key stakeholders

Superb client-facing and internal team communication and interpersonal skills with strong written communication skills, including development of user guides and support

Ability to travel to sites if required and support in house departments, secondments to key clients.
