An established builder-developer with a strong footprint in Southeast Queensland is seeking a Quality Manager to take the lead in driving quality excellence across residential and mixed-use projects. This is a hands-on, strategic role ideal for candidates from large-scale residential backgrounds—not Tier 1 infrastructure—who understand design integration and thrive in fast-paced delivery environments.

What you'll be doing:

Develop and lead ISO 9001:2015-aligned quality management systems across live construction sites.

Provide hands-on quality oversight—no large teams behind you—just your expertise, leadership, and drive.

Work closely with design teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to align project quality with regulatory and client expectations.

Conduct internal and external audits, manage compliance actions, and drive a culture of continuous improvement.

Oversee QA for materials and monitor inspection plans, methodologies, and documentation standards.

What you'll bring:

Strong quality leadership experience within multi-residential or larger residential construction companies.

Practical, hands-on approach to quality systems—ideally without reliance on large support teams.

Sound understanding of construction methodologies and design principles relevant to residential and mixed-use builds.

In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 standards and audit processes.

Effective communicator with the ability to influence teams and stakeholders at all levels.

Tertiary qualifications in construction, engineering, or a related field preferred.
