FindStaff is seeking a standout Operations & Quality Manager to join our Global Client at their Yatala Office on a full-time permanent basis. This is a rewarding opportunity
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 3:00pm.
Salary range: $170,000 - $200,000, negotiable depending on expertise.
Duties & Responsibilities:Lab Operations Management
- Oversee production runs
- Operate laboratory equipment to assess waste material content and quality of waste streams
- Conduct extensive laboratory testing on diverse biowaste streams
- Process waste materials to recycle into fuel or fertilizer
- Execute testing experiments to produce feedstock samples
- Discuss with internal and external engineering teams on design, commissioning, and equipment efficiency
- Modify processing machinery to meet specific customer requirements
- Review design and manufacturing solutions to align with market needs
- Oversee maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery
- Ensure all quality control procedures are followed to high standards

- At least 3+ years experience in process or plant engineering within waste-processing, bioenergy, or relevant industry
- Must have a Mechanical Fitter qualification with 3+ years industry experience
- Forklift license – preferred but not essential
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Full working rights in Australia
- Ability to read and create P&ID diagrams; basic CAD skills are a bonus
- Current Australian Driver License
