Our client is a global consumer electronics company focusing on Home Entertainment, Home Appliances, Air Conditioning, and Corporate Technology. A fantastic opportunity has become available for a qualified lawyer with experience in general commercial/contracts law and consumer law / privacy law to cover a 24 month Mat leave requirement.

You will be responsible for the provision of legal advice on a broad range of corporate commercial matters. Responsible for management of the company's compliance program and legal policies and procedures. Day to day management of contract register and contract management procedures. Responsible for maintenance of legal precedent library.

Ideal Candidates will be/have:

  • Qualified lawyer with solid experience in a reputable law firm or large corporation.
  • Experience in general commercial/contracts law and consumer law / privacy law essential.
  • In-house secondment experience preferred.
  • Well organized and capable of handling a heavy workload and deadlines
  • Strong drafting skills
  • Close attention to detail and strong analytical skills
  • Strong time management skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders
  • Substantial knowledge of Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel and powerpoint
