This role can be based at our sites in West Melbourne, VIC or Regency Park, SA. You will work with multiple sites and customers across Australia, shaping and growing our safety culture with a focus on care, trust and inclusion. The role suits an energetic and innovative leader with multi-site experience embedding a risk-based approach to keep people safe physically and mentally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with leaders and customers to develop and execute business and site safety plans
  • Embed a risk-based approach with a focus on everyday, critical and psycho-social risks
  • Coach and mentor leaders through site visits, facilitated training and workshops
  • Develop and maintain systems with a focus on risk, health, compliance and customer expectations
  • Manage serious incident investigations and regulatory notifications/interventions
  • Measure and report on performance, trends and outcomes
Are you the one?

You enjoy a hands-on role coaching, influencing, mentoring and providing specialist workplace health and safety advice to workers and leaders to drive safety across our sites. You should be able to work in an open, collaborative and inclusive manner. You can demonstrate:

  • Leadership experience in safety, health and well-being
  • Deep and practical understanding of the risks unique to the transport, warehousing and logistics industry
  • Commitment to personal development through formal education or other training programs
  • Experience in facilitating workshops and leading incident investigations
  • Working knowledge of work health and safety legislation
  • Ability to develop and present results, plans and updates to leadership teams and customers
