DataAIT Technologies is an Australian-based Data, AI and Cloud consultancy helping organisations unlock business value through data-driven solutions and cloud innovation. Our team works across cloud architecture, data engineering, AI/ML, and analytics for clients in both public and private sectors.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Presales Consultant with strong AWS expertise to support our strategic growth and complex solutioning needs.

Role Overview

In this client-facing role, you will lead the technical presales function across enterprise engagements, working closely with sales, delivery, and partner teams. You'll be responsible for designing scalable cloud architectures on AWS, crafting tailored solutions for clients, and driving pre-sales strategy and execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead technical discovery sessions and understand client challenges, goals, and requirements.
  • Design AWS-based solution architectures that align with business outcomes and industry best practices.
  • Create detailed proposals, solution documentation, and statements of work (SOWs).
  • Present technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with sales and delivery teams to develop winning go-to-market strategies.
  • Respond to RFPs, RFIs, and tenders with accurate, timely, and high-quality inputs.
  • Stay current with AWS innovations, cloud trends, and the competitive landscape.
  • Provide technical mentorship to junior consultants and presales team members.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in IT/technology consulting, including 5+ years in presales, solution architecture, or technical consulting roles.
  • Strong expertise in AWS cloud services, architecture design, migration strategies, and solutioning.
  • Experience in building proposals and SOWs for cloud-based projects.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into robust technical designs.
  • Deep understanding of cloud-native services, security, networking, and DevOps practices.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
  • Experience working in client-facing consulting or services delivery environments.
  • AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect – Associate/Professional preferred).
  • Familiarity with Azure, GCP, or hybrid cloud scenarios is a plus.
  • Background in data platforms, AI/ML solutions, or analytics-driven use cases.
