Senior Specialist, Robotics Process Automation – Finance Focused (Bangkok Based, Relocation Provided) – Agoda

The Senior Specialist – Robotic Process Automation (RPA) will be part of the Finance Data and Automation team. The successful candidate will deliver key automation initiatives for Finance stakeholders and may contribute to AI projects. This role requires working closely with Finance users and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to design and own end-to-end automations, acting as a trusted partner who understands business processes and provides automation solutions through re-engineering workflows.

Responsibilities
  • Work closely with stakeholders from different Finance verticals.
  • Consult stakeholders to propose the most suitable automation solution.
  • Build, manage, and optimize end-to-end automations while ensuring security and compliance.
  • Become familiar with Agoda's finance ecosystem.
  • Leverage Gen AI technology to deliver efficiency-saving automation projects.
Location & Relocation
  • This position is based in Bangkok – relocation support provided for expat candidates.
What you'll need to succeed (MUST Have)
  • Undergraduate/Postgraduate or equivalent technical degree.
  • 8+ years of experience with RPA tools, with at least 5 years in combined Blue Prism and Power Platform.
  • End-to-end delivery of at least 10 projects using Power Platform and Blue Prism (individually).
  • High sense of ownership and growth mindset; ability to be self-directed.
  • Establish robust RPA governance framework, prioritize bug/change requests, and maintain strong bot scheduling controls for high utilization.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to influence peers and build strong relationships within Finance and cross-functionally.
Nice to Have
  • Accounting/Financial knowledge.
  • Understanding of ITGC controls and SOX compliance.
  • Process mining (Celonis), OCR (Rossum), Alteryx knowledge.
  • Experience in full-stack development – UI/UX/API dev/backend/Postgres.
  • Knowledge of procure-to-pay (P2P), order-to-cash (O2C), and record-to-report (R2R).
  • Familiarity with Scrum/Agile methodologies.
  • Experience in Gen AI implementation and advanced programming.
  • Other helpful skills – Oracle Fusion, Celonis Certification, Power Automate Desktop Certification.
