What We Are Looking For

We're looking for a Part-Time VM & Creative Coordinator (3 days per week) with a strong background in interior design and styling to join our Creative team in Melbourne. Based at our stunning Scoresby Head Office, you'll work closely with our Head of VM & Styling to shape inspiring visual merchandising experiences and support design initiatives across the business.   • Qualification in Merchandising or 2 years' experience working in a styling and/or VM capacity
  • Experience in a retail environment would be advantageous
  • Experience in a creative studio or styling capacity would be beneficial
  • CAD/Sketch UP experience is ideal
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong communication and time management skills

What The Role Entails

VISUAL MERCHANDISING HOMEWARES & ACTIVATIONS
  • Assist with VM of Homewares products for all launches, promotions and marketing activations
  • Coordinate samples with the Homewares Buying and Design team
  • In consultation with Head of VM, develop guidelines and floor plans instructing merchandising directive
  • Support in the research, development and production of VM tools and props
  • Develop signage briefs for showroom signage and pricing cards
  • Assist with set up for creative presentations and design studio meetings

Showroom Shuffles
  • Assist with planning for and executing showroom shuffles within national network of showrooms
  • Render new products and maintain accurate INDD planograms for all showrooms
  • Attend showroom shuffles to assist with furniture styling and placement as required
  • Maintain showroom orders/floor stock to sell google sheet with current orders/sell list

STYLING
  • In coordination with HO Creative & VM support with coordination and preparation for all shoots
  • Source props for eComm, campaign and house shoots
  • Undertake styling for all eComm shoots for homewares according to marketing guidelines
  • Prepare product for shoot including removing packaging, steaming, styling
  • Develop styling inspiration document and regularly research trends and best practice from competitors and inspirational brands
  • Ensure photoshoot studio and photoshoot storage room is prepared prior to shoot, tidied post shoot and that storage room organisation is maintained
