About the Role

We're seeking a driven and consultative Sales Executive to help us grow our client base across Australia. You'll play a key role in identifying opportunities, engaging with prospective clients, and providing tailored service solutions that align with their business needs.

Whether you're based in Melbourne or prefer to work remotely, this full-time position offers the flexibility and support you need to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Proactively identify and qualify new business leads through outreach, research, and networking
  • Understand client pain points and recommend service solutions aligned to their needs
  • Deliver persuasive presentations and customised proposals to decision-makers
  • Own the full sales cycle—from prospecting to contract negotiation and close
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new clients
  • Meet or exceed individual sales targets and contribute to broader business development goals
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and prepare regular pipeline reports and forecasts
  • Represent Purplequay at industry events, webinars, and networking opportunities
What We're Looking For
  • 2–5 years of B2B sales experience, ideally within accounting, professional services, outsourcing, or technology
  • Strong understanding of business operations and client challenges in areas like tax, finance, or back-office support
  • Proven track record of achieving (or exceeding) sales targets in a consultative environment
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Highly self-motivated with a proactive approach to business development
  • Ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid setting
  • Comfortable using CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools
  • A degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field (preferred)
