Overview:

A Local Connector from the NSW Government's Department of Regional NSW will assist with concerns, questions, and community integration to ensure a smooth transition.

About Southern NSW Local Health District:

Covering a large area of southern NSW, including beaches, farmlands, and mountains, serving over 200,000 people across 18 facilities. Our staff are integral to the community.

Work Location:

Moruya, 305 km south of Sydney and 175 km from Canberra. Known for its charm and scenic coastal drives.

Role Responsibilities:

The Registered Nurse delivers person-centered nursing care in collaboration with individuals and the healthcare team, providing supervision and support to less experienced clinicians to ensure quality care.

Selection Criteria:
  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
  • Competencies in multidisciplinary team care
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Application of evidence-based practice and critical thinking
  • Leadership and change management abilities
  • Recent clinical experience and commitment to professional development
  • Ability to prioritize and organize workload with integrity and accountability
Additional Requirements:

This is a Category 'A' position requiring compliance with NSW Health vaccination policies, including influenza vaccination.
