About the role

Job Opportunity: Maintenance Planner / Scheduler – Renewables (Wind Assets)

Location: Melbourne, VIC or Adelaide, SA

Employment Type: Full time / Hybrid role with travel to wind farm sites once a month

About the Role

We're seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Maintenance Planner / Scheduler to join our Renewables team, supporting the strategic and operational goals of our Wind assets. This role is key in ensuring best-practice maintenance planning and scheduling, aligning with unit outages to meet plant availability targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain realistic weekly and long-term maintenance schedules, including resource planning and contingency strategies
  • Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering teams for aligned planning and effective communication
  • Prepare comprehensive work packages with procedures, materials, and isolation requirements, ensuring appropriate skills and resources
  • Review and improve planning processes to enhance efficiency and safety
  • Provide strategic advice to the Planning and Scheduling Manager and coordinate with external providers to meet quality, budget, and timeline expectations
Skills & Experience
  • Strong knowledge of planning and scheduling systems and maintenance practices
  • Excellent communication skills for delivering clear, timely information
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in SAP and Prometheus or similar systems
  • Experience in planning/scheduling in the power or heavy industrial sectors
Qualifications
  • Engineering or Trade qualification, or equivalent experience in a planner/scheduler role
