About the Role

We're seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Maintenance Planner / Scheduler to join our Renewables team, supporting the strategic and operational goals of our Wind assets. This role is pivotal in ensuring best-practice maintenance planning and scheduling, aligning with unit outages to meet plant availability targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and maintain realistic weekly and long-term maintenance schedules, including resource planning and contingency strategies.
• Work closely with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to align planning efforts and ensure effective communication and coordination.
• Prepare complete work packages with procedures, materials, and isolation requirements, ensuring the right skills and resources are matched to tasks.
• Review and enhance planning processes to reduce waste and improve efficiency, while embedding safety targets into all planning activities.
• Provide strategic advice to the Planning and Scheduling Manager and coordinate with external providers to meet quality, budget, and timeline expectations.
  
  

Skills & Experience

• Excellent knowledge of planning and scheduling systems and maintenance practices.
• Great communicator with the ability to deliver clear, timely information.
• Analytical thinker with problem-solving capabilities.
• Proficient in SAP and Prometheus (or similar systems).
• Experience in planning/scheduling within the power or heavy industrial sectors.
  
  

Qualifications

• Engineering or Trade qualification, or equivalent experience in a planner/scheduler role.
