About the Role: Social Media Specialist

You'll be the one who brings clarity to the moving pieces.

This role sits at the centre of client delivery, team coordination, and channel performance.

You're not just scheduling posts. You're making sure the right things go live, at the right time, with the right context.

That means working closely with our creative, strategy, production and paid teams to keep projects moving, timelines aligned, and partners happy.

When deadlines shift or briefs change (and they will), you'll reprioritise with purpose, spot blockers early, and keep everyone focused on what matters next.

Key Responsibilities

Social Delivery & Coordination

• Manage content calendars across Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn and more
• Maintain weekly WIPs and be the key point of contact for 4–5 key clients
• Coordinate internal teams to ensure content, paid campaigns, and other deliverables are aligned and on schedule
• Write clear briefs, follow-ups, and task descriptions that keep projects on track
• Review content and posts for accuracy, formatting and tone of voice before they go live
• Spot gaps in information and proactively seek clarity (not wait for it)

Platform & Trend Awareness

• Stay up to date on algorithm changes, trends, and content formats
• Spot organic opportunities and social hooks clients can tap into
• Help improve performance through simple changes and sharp thinking (you don't need to be the strategist, but you do need to think like one)

Problem Solving & Project Support

• Re-prioritise tasks and timelines when things shift — without panic
• Escalate and resolve blockers across creative, paid, and content teams
• Help keep Asana and team workflows clean, organised and up to date

What you WON'T have to do

• Shoot or design all content yourself (but if you've got LoFi or Canva skills — we love that)
• Build paid media campaigns (we've got specialists for that)
• Write 40-page decks, pitch strategies, or chase likes for the sake of them
