The LGH Casual Pool offers the opportunity to work across various departments within Launceston General Hospital, gaining valuable experience in multiple areas.

Casual Pool enables flexibility of shifts, promoting a healthy work life balance.

• Demonstrated well-developed interpersonal skills including the ability to effectively interact with the public and all disciplines of professional staff.
• Well-developed time management skills and the demonstrated ability to work autonomously; prioritise workloads; and apply flexibility, speed and accuracy whilst working in a busy and demanding public environment with an exacting schedule.
• Demonstrated skills and abilities in contemporary clerical and administrative support including rapid and accurate data entry skills, a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite packages and knowledge of, or the ability to acquire knowledge of, the Launceston General Hospital's health information systems.

Fixed term, casual, day worker position working as and when required, commencing as soon as possible for approximately 12 months.

• Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.

Salary: $66,049 to $70,993 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

• Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022.

Salary Packaging: You'll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
