About the Role

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Development Lead to oversee the delivery of enterprise-grade digital solutions across multiple technology stacks. With 5+ years of hands-on experience in full-stack development and at least 2 years in a leadership role, you will be responsible for guiding a team of developers, architecting solutions, and ensuring successful project delivery. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, people leadership, and stakeholder engagement to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of solutions across multiple platforms, including:
  • Develop high-quality, maintainable code and contribute to system development while leading and supporting development teams.
  • Architect scalable, maintainable, and secure applications for both front-end and back-end systems
  • Oversee DevOps pipelines for CI/CD, ensuring best practices for quality and automation
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and translate them into technical outcomes
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to developers, promoting collaboration and best practices
  • Manage and balance multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities
  • Apply Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) to plan and deliver iterative outcomes
  • Troubleshoot, resolve, and optimise complex technical issues across diverse stacks
  • Champion innovation by recommending new tools, frameworks, and approaches where appropriate
Required Skills & Experience
  • 5+ years enterprise-level development experience, with 2+ years in a senior or lead developer capacity
  • Strong expertise across multiple technologies:
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services (Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, App Services)
  • Proven experience establishing and managing DevOps pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, etc.)
  • Solid understanding of modern software engineering practices: CI/CD, test automation, security, and scalability
  • Prior experience mentoring or leading a development team, fostering technical excellence
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Strong communication skills, with proven ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies
  • Certifications in Microsoft, Azure, or related technologies highly regarded
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent professional experience
  • Must hold full Australian working rights
