About the role

Reporting to the Campaign Marketing Manager, the Marketing Officer will provide hands-on support across a broad range of marketing disciplines to drive awareness and customer acquisition. This diverse role covers advertising, partnerships, sponsorships, events, merchandise, and providing finance and administrative support for the marketing team. You'll be a key point of coordination between internal stakeholders and external agencies, ensuring campaigns, sponsorships, and brand activities are delivered on time, on budget, and to a high standard.

Key responsibilities
  • Manage the development and production of marketing collateral (including signage, customer communications and more).
  • Deliver tactical campaigns to support customer acquisition, developing materials for online and offline channels.
  • Support the delivery of Kleenheat's sponsorships by managing elements such as competitions and event activation.
  • Provide marketing support for Kleenheat's partnerships with RAC and Flybuys as briefed.
  • Build and update competition landing pages in Kleenheat's CMS and deliver updates to sponsorship and partnership pages.
  • Manage branded merchandise and promotional items, ensuring storerooms and inventory are maintained and sourcing new stock.
  • Manage invoices, purchase orders and the reconciliations of referral payments for marketing activities.
  • Provide administrative support to the Marketing team, including managing the Marketing inbox.
  • Ensure compliance with marketing, ethical and legal standards (SPAM Act, Privacy Act, Trade Practices).
About you

We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities while keeping attention to detail.

  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications, Events, or a related discipline (preferred but not essential).
  • At least 5 years' experience in marketing, partnerships, business development, or related roles.
  • Strong copywriting and communication skills – both written and verbal.
  • Proven ability to deliver campaigns across multiple channels and touchpoints.
  • Experience building and managing relationships with external agencies and partners.
  • Budget management and administration experience.
  • A proactive, customer-focused mindset with strong collaboration and problem-solving skills.
