The Marketing Officer role is a key position within our organisation, responsible for delivering marketing campaigns that drive awareness and customer acquisition.
This diverse role covers advertising, partnerships, sponsorships, events, merchandise, and providing administrative support for the marketing team.
As a Marketing Officer, you will be a key point of coordination between internal stakeholders and external agencies, ensuring campaigns, sponsorships, and brand activities are delivered on time, on budget, and to a high standard.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the development and production of marketing collateral, including signage and customer communications.
- Delivering tactical campaigns to support customer acquisition, developing materials for online and offline channels.
- Supporting the delivery of sponsorships by managing elements such as competitions and event activation.
- Providing marketing support for partnerships as briefed.
- Building and updating competition landing pages in our content management system and delivering updates to sponsorship and partnership pages.
- Managing branded merchandise and promotional items, ensuring storerooms and inventory are maintained and sourced regularly.
- Managing invoices, purchase orders, and reconciliations for marketing activities.
- Providing administrative support to the Marketing team, including managing the Marketing inbox.
- Ensuring compliance with marketing, ethical, and legal standards.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications, Events, or a related discipline (preferred but not essential).
- At least 5 years' experience in marketing, partnerships, business development, or related roles.
- Strong copywriting and communication skills – both written and verbal.
- Proven ability to deliver campaigns across multiple channels and touchpoints.
- Experience building and managing relationships with external agencies and partners.
- Budget management and administration experience.
- A proactive, customer-focused mindset with strong collaboration and problem-solving skills.
