The Workforce Compliance Application Specialist will be the primary administrator and subject matter expert for our new workforce compliance platform, Beakon. This cloud-based system supports key functions such as contractor management, permit-to-work, incident reporting, risk management, e-learning, and audit processes.

The role focuses on maintaining system configuration, ensuring smooth operation, monitoring data integrity, and supporting users so they can effectively complete their compliance tasks within the platform.

This role is based out of our modern head office, across from Southern Cross Station, which offers a vibrant environment featuring a balcony, BBQ area, collaborative and quiet spaces, and plenty of natural light.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and maintain Beakon modules to meet business needs, including inductions, training, permits, contractor onboarding, and incident management.
  • Manage user roles, permissions, and security settings to protect sensitive data.
  • Create and update workflows, forms, and templates as required.
  • Monitor system performance, resolve issues, and liaise with Beakon support when necessary.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for Beakon-related queries.
    • Provide onboarding, training, and ongoing support for staff, contractors, and managers.
    • Develop and maintain user guides, training materials, and FAQs.
    • Monitor data integrity within Beakon to ensure accurate and complete information is passed to downstream systems such as Power BI.
      • Identify and troubleshoot any data issues or errors in coordination with IT or relevant teams.
      • Direct users to the appropriate reports, dashboards, or teams for reporting and analysis queries.

About You:

  • Experience with system administration or application support (Workforce Compliance, HSE, HRIS, or similar platforms).
  • Prior experience with Beakon or similar workforce compliance systems.
  • Experience in training and onboarding system users.
  • Beakon platform availability and accuracy of data.
  • Positive feedback from system users.
    • Successful implementation of system/process improvements.
    • Compliance KPIs met with no audit failures due to system administration issues.
