Position: Manager Support Officer
Salary range: $73,393 - $78,520 (level 3.1 - 3.4) per annum (+ potential 6% uplift in 2025) + Super
Location: Marsden Depot
The Plant Fleet Services Branch is a nationally award-winning team that provides strategic and operational services, supporting the delivery of council services through the supply and maintenance of heavy plant, vehicles, and equipment.
The role
As a Manager Support Officer, you will provide high level, proactive administrative support to the Plant Services Fleet Manager and to the branch management team. Your role will support the BAU tasks expected of the Plant Fleet Services Manager, including email and calendar management, reporting, minute taking, and the organisation of events, seminars, and travel arrangements.
Critically, you will take pride in your communication, engagement, and presentation to stakeholders through your professional and collaborative working style, enabling both the manager and the branch to deliver quality outcomes effectively and professionally.

- High level, confidential and tailored management support services to the Branch Manager.
- Adaptability and resilience – Manage competing priorities calmly and flexibly in a dynamic environment.
- Situational awareness – Demonstrate the ability to connect the dots between conversations, emails, and actions.
- Provide outlook email and calendar support with correspondence, prioritisation, and meeting request scheduling.
- Minute taking and committee reports.
- Scheduling, communication and organisation of travel and accommodation for workshops and conferences for the manager and the branch.
- Customer focused telephone and email communication.

- Proven experience providing confidential, proactive, and effective admin support at a senior level.
- Highly developed communication skills with the ability to tailor style and approach aligning to your audience's needs.
- Demonstrated skills being an engaging team player with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
- Proven, effective highly developed skills using the Microsoft Office suite and Teams
- A high level of attention to detail.
