About the Role Reporting to the Head of HR Compliance & Employee Relations, you will be part of the Line 1 Risk team for the P&C team.
Your focus will be toassistwith the design, implementation and embedding of our risk and compliance frameworks, supporting the People and Culture function here at Sportsbet.
The Risk & Compliance Specialist will drive compliance related activities, quality assurance and operational control testingpredominately acrossour P&C function to build and continuously review, enhance and finetune our systems and processes to ensure wecomply withour regulatory obligations and priorities.
The Risk & Compliance Specialist will directlyinterface withthe business as well as Line 2 representativesand membersof the Legal, Risk and Compliance Team by seeking legal and compliance advice.
Such advice is then translated into direction and guidelines which can be operationalised by those front-line teams.
Responsibilities Include: Implement Line 1 and 2and compliance policies and processes to ensure that regulatory obligations and commercial risks are appropriatelyidentified, assessed,reportedandmonitoredthrough control testing.
You'llcollaborate with teammates to ensure our departments have strong control environments, effectively managing risks and compliance obligations.
This fosters an environment of trust and transparency for our business leaders and key stakeholders.
Act as key point of contact for breach & incident investigations and work with SMEs (e.g.
P&C, Line 2representatives, Legal Riskand Compliance Team) towards resolution,communicationand alignment.
Conduct reviews/oversee assurance of P&C key business processes and controls to ensure the continued adherence to and effective implementation of policies,proceduresand regulations.
You'llensure alignment with the proven policies and frameworks of Flutter Entertainment Group, a leading NYSE listed company About You Proactive, hands-on delivery style, including preparing and socializing compliance related dashboards and other materials.
Demonstratedtrack recordin implementing risk and compliance management practices within a similar internal governance function, preferably within People & Culture function.
Demonstrated experience in dealing with internal controls, including proper design and implementation.
Demonstrated experience in dealing with risk management, including proper identification and articulation of people obligations.
Experience leading and contributing to cross-functional governance initiatives through matrix dependencies.
Ability to develop and deploy quality assurance and audit style reviews and testing in high volume environments.
