  4. About the role: Located in Townsville, reporting to the Support Manager or Service Leader, you will work within the Purpose and Values of Aruma. You will be part of a high-performing Support Team working towards delivering a positive customer experience to those in our care. We have several casual opportunities available with potential for permanent roles for the right candidates.

    1. Provide direct care within a residential setting, ensuring a safe and nurturing home-like environment and promoting positive family relationships.
    2. Work within a trauma-informed framework that makes a real difference with young people who have complex needs and challenging behaviours.

  7. What you'll need:
    1. Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention (Residential Care), or equivalent, or working towards it. View details.
    2. Valid Australian full driver's licence for the state you have applied for.
    3. Valid Australian working rights.
    4. Willingness to complete a Child Safety and Personal Screening Check.
    5. Hold (or be willing to obtain) a Working With Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, First Aid, and CPR qualifications.
  8. Skills and experience:
    1. Availability to work any rostered shifts across a 24/7 roster model, including awake nights and sleepovers.
    2. Passionate about supporting young people who have experienced trauma and have a disability.
