We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Program Manager to lead our Residential Care Program in Townsville.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding a team to deliver safe, trauma-informed care for children and young people. This role involves coordinating and managing the day-to-day operations of our Residential Care Program.

The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on quality practice and reporting capability, as well as a demonstrated commitment to the care and protection of clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, lead, motivate and manage a team Child & Family Practitioners and Youth Workers
  • Oversee the caseloads of direct reports and provide practical support as required
  • Manage the Family Intervention Service, ensuring compliance with legislation, standards, contractual requirements, and internal policy
  • Ensure delivery of program services in accordance with program budget, local business plans and in line with client needs and plans
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience working with individuals, families and communities from a strength-based, culturally appropriate perspective that are part of the out of home care sector
  • Demonstrated experience in working within a multi-disciplinary team
  • Demonstrated experience in managing competing priorities and to deliver high quality outcomes within agreed timeframes
  • A strong focus on quality practice and reporting capability
  • A demonstrated commitment to the care and protection of clients
