Senior Electrical Engineer / Senior Technical Officer

Balpara is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer / Senior Technical Officer to join our team. This role offers flexible working arrangements, growth opportunities and involvement in managing project lifecycles.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality engineering designs in Overhead lines, Underground lines and Distribution Substation Projects
  • Design & draft Transmission and Underground lines for major projects
  • Attend site when required
  • Review project scope and make recommendations to improve project constructability and costs
  • Apply industry standards & Safety in Design guidelines
  • Deliver effective design management on projects of various complexity to meet delivery timeframes, quality and cost
  • Identify innovative solutions to enhance team efficiency
Qualifications / To succeed you'll need
  • Demonstrated experience in Distribution & Transmission Design projects
  • Well-developed written and oral communication skills
  • Understanding of Safety in Design practices
  • Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) or equivalent
  • RPEV accreditation advantages
  • Proficient AutoCAD drafting
  • Experience using Revit and NEARA would be beneficial but is not a prerequisite
