About the roleReporting to the General Manager, this role seeks to provide technical assistance, project management and support on Civil projects.
Responsibilities- Assist with the preparation of tender documentation & submission.
- Review project drawings, reports and specifications.
- Plan and manage the construction of the works including selection of subcontractors, suppliers, plant and equipment.
- Provide technical assistance to project teams.
- Liaison with the client, subcontractors and suppliers and coordinate the works delivery.
- Work closely with and manage positively the project team.
- Manage all related construction works.
- Prepare and implement project plans and documents for use onsite to client's satisfaction.
- Prepare the project program, track updates and manage delays and client notifications.
- Manage the project financials including budgets, cost tracking, and monthly forecast preparation and presentation.
- Manage works to Ace's systems, policies and procedures.
- Carry out other duties as required or requested.
Your background might include a hands-on Project Engineer / Project Manager, with proven successful experience in civil projects.
Qualifications- Experience leading a team, including on site employees.
- Experience in compliance to HSEQ docs.
- Sound knowledge of industry practices and standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
