About Our Client

Our client is a respected organisation within the financial services industry, known for its focus on delivering tailored solutions and maintaining a strong presence in Melbourne.

Job Description
- Prepare and review financial statements and reports in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Manage and oversee month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Reconcile accounts and maintain accuracy in financial records.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes to support business planning.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with accounting policies.
- Support the audit process and liaise with external auditors as needed.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting systems and processes.
The Successful Applicant

The Successful Applicant Will Meet The Following Criteria
- A recognised qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong communication skills to liaise with stakeholders across all levels
