As a Financial Accountant, you will:

· Prepare and process journals, accruals, and reconciliations to ensure accurate month-end reporting

· Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports, annual statutory accounts, and the company budget

· Support the completion of BAS and payroll tax returns, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations

· Manage daily banking tasks including reconciliations, cash flow reporting, and payments

· Collaborate with internal departments and external auditors to resolve issues and support continuous improvement

· Provide financial insights to key stakeholders and contribute to ad hoc analysis and reporting

· Participate in cross-functional finance projects and support the team with process enhancements

What you can bring to the role:

· 1+ years' experience in a Financial Accountant or similar role

· An accounting degree and working towards or completion of a CPA or CA qualification

· Solid understanding of accounting standards, financial reporting, and compliance

· Experience with SAP and/or BW (data warehouse) is highly regarded

· Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with financial systems

· A proactive and accountable approach, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
