Lead a High-Performing Recoveries Team, Maximise Revenue Recovery, and Drive Operational Excellence
We're looking for a driven and strategic leader to join our team as Team Leader – Recoveries. In this pivotal role, you'll oversee, motivate, and develop a team of Recoveries Specialists to achieve high standards in claims settlements, maximise revenue recovery, and minimise write-off values – all delivered in the most efficient and effective manner.

What You'll Be Doing
- Lead, mentor, and coach a team of Recoveries Specialists to achieve agreed KPIs and deliver exceptional claims settlement outcomes
- Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and quality checks, providing constructive feedback and development plans
- Drive process improvements and identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and insurer relationships
- Manage team productivity, timekeeping, leave, and performance data, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations
- Provide training and develop resources for Claims and Recoveries teams
- Analyse and report on team performance, case law developments, and operational trends to senior management
- Approve settlements, recovery rates, task extensions, and other key decisions within delegation authority
- Ensure compliance with WHS requirements, company policies, and industry regulations
What You'll Bring
- Experience within the insurance industry (advantageous)
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent numeracy, literacy, and presentation skills
- Attention to detail, integrity, and a results-driven mindset
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
