HIA Insurance Services (HIAIS) is a specialist insurance broker providing insurance products and risk advice to the residential building industry. Formed in 1984, HIAIS is a joint venture between Aon and the Housing Industry Association (HIA).
Client Manager | HIAIS
The Client Manager is responsible for providing best in class service for a key portfolio of HIAIS clients and will work closely with their team members to implement strategies which focus on growth and retention of the team portfolio. This Client Manager is a key driver to our long-term growth ambitions in this segment and will work closely with leadership to drive positive results in the region.

Our joint venture provides us with the opportunity to leverage the risk and insurance expertise of Aon, with the HIA\'s deep knowledge of the housing industry. HIA is Australia's only national building industry association, representing the interests of the housing industry at regional and national levels. What the day will look likeLead a diverse portfolio of clients, focusing on providing best in class, expert advice as a specialist in residential construction
Build strong relationships with clients and internal and external stakeholders to enhance the client experience
Identify development opportunities for the designated portfolio and design servicing solutions including, but not limited to, additional insurance products and risk management strategies
Manage and oversee Home Warranty Insurance reviews, liaising with appropriate stakeholders to obtain the best possible outcomes for clients and their business requirements
Develop new and profitable business within the ACT region
Contribute to the strategic direction of the HIAIS business in ACT and nationally
This opportunity would suit someone with solid foundation and knowledge in general insurance, particularly ACT Builders Warranty and NSW Home Warranty Insurance and a passion for servicing clients. You will be supported to grow your understanding of construction insurance, particularly a specialist product for residential construction clients.
Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
Outstanding communication and presentation skills
A self-motivated individual with a proven track record in driving portfolio growth
Strong technical understanding of Commercial Insurance products
Expertise in growing and leveraging professional networks
Effective organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage and prioritise different aspects of the role
A strong passion for continuous learning and a curious mindset, with the ability to think creatively to deliver exceptional results for both clients and the HIAIS business
