Stellarossa Nerang Cafe is on the hunt for passionate and fun-loving Experienced Kitchen Team Members (Chefs, Cooks) to join our dynamic team. Enjoy working in varied roles that keep you learning holistically across the business.

About The Role

  • Part-time position.
  • Weekend availability is preferred.
  • Must be flexible with working days.
  • 30 hrs p/week.

For Kitchen Team Members
  • Prepare, cook and plate dishes according to Stellarossa's recipes and standards.
  • Conduct orders for supplies (E.g. PFD - main supplier for the kitchen resources).
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe kitchen environment.
  • Support the team in managing kitchen operations and ensuring food quality.
  • Assist in the preparation of ingredients with a focus on improving efficiency and workflow during busy periods.
  • Comply with health and safety regulations.
  • Ensure appropriate food preparation procedures are followed to supply meals that meet dietary and allergy requirements
  • Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed.

Requirements
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a cook or chef.
  • Strong knowledge of kitchen operations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment.
  • A responsible, reliable, mature and structured disposition
  • High energy and productivity levels.
  • Openness to learning and following systems.
