We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Team Member to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about providing exceptional customer service and working in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in food preparation tasks, including washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables, as well as portioning ingredients. They will also provide support to chefs and cooks during meal preparation, retrieve ingredients and utensils, and deliver food orders from the kitchen to the appropriate tables.

The ideal candidate will have some cookery or kitchen experience, strong listening and verbal communication skills, and a willingness to learn and follow health and safety procedures. Certification in Hospitality or related industry would be beneficial but not essential.

This is a flexible part-time position with the possibility of hours varying depending on business needs. Availability to work a Friday/Saturday evening shift may be required occasionally.   • Food Preparation: Assist in food preparation tasks such as washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables, as well as portioning ingredients.
  • Assisting Chefs and Cooks: Provide support to chefs and cooks during meal preparation, including retrieving ingredients and utensils.
  • Running Food: Deliver food orders from the kitchen to the appropriate tables, ensuring accuracy and prompt service.
  • Clearing and Cleaning Tables: Keep the dining area tidy and presentable, clearing tables after customers leave, and promptly resetting them for the next guests.
  • General Cleaning: Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the cafe, including regular cleaning of surfaces, floors, and equipment.
  • Dishwashing: Ensure timely and efficient cleaning of kitchen equipment, dishes, glassware, and utensils to maintain a smooth workflow and support kitchen operations.
