Risk Managent Officer

Location: Hobart

Hourly rate: $55.34 per hour + super

Contract length: 7+ months

We are looking for a Risk Management Officer to join our client's dedicated team and play a key role in safeguarding their assets and services.

In This Role, You Will

  • Investigate and administer a variety of insurance claims, collaborating with different teams to get to the bottom of incidents.
  • Conduct research and provide strategic recommendations that help us improve our processes and minimise future risks.
  • Support our risk management framework by helping to administer our software and provide expert advice.
  • Contribute to high-level reporting, preparing critical data for our Corporate Risk Management Committee and senior leadership.
  • Assist with organisation audits and maintain vital information on our intranet.

About You
  • Demonstrated experience in administering and investigating a variety of insurance claims (e.g., public liability, professional indemnity, motor vehicle).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to research, synthesise information, and provide clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Proficiency in using risk management software or similar database systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for preparing reports, correspondence, and liaising with stakeholders.
